DOKPESI CRIES OUT: DON’T IMPOSE PARTY CHAIRMAN ON PDP!

One of the aspirants for the Office of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria (PDP), High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has raised alarm over alleged plans to impose a new party chairman on the fledgling party by unnamed Governors. The Agenegbode High Chief and media mogul said that the party was in crisis because its leaders had moved away from the ideals of its founding fathers. “If the PDP does not reform now, it will not survive the current crisis”, he charged. But is anybody listening? Time will tell. Already, the position has been zoned to the south-west where chieftains like Bode George are angling for the very position.

STOP THE ILLEGAL DETENTIONS IN ICPC NOW BUHARI TOLD

The Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Matters Offences Commission (ICPC) were set as an anti-corruption agency to rein in persons involved in suspected shady deals and sharp practices.
