CHIEF RAYMOND DOKPESI IS CLEAR CHOICE FOR PDP CHAIR….Franklyn Edede for national youths!

High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi
The Chairman of Daar Communications Plc High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi is the clear favorite to clinch the coveted position of the PDP National Chairman. The very experienced and vastly popular media mogul is not expected to confront stiff opposition. Opinion Poll hastily conducted show that if the PDP is to deviate from the annoying “imposition” practice- of the past, the coast is clear for the Daar Communication boss.  Chief Raymond has cut a niche for himself; a bridge builder as well as a detribalized national icon, he showed early in his private career that he is a man of all people. From Agenegbode in Edo State, the 64 year old communications guru would bring with him his huge  wealth of experience to bear on the decadence brought upon the PDP—a factor that costs them the loss of political power at the center. Another cheerful factor noticeable on Chief Dokpesi is his large heart, unlike past leaders in the PDP who displaced greed, avarice and presided over an intolerable level of godfatherism! Those leaders, the Opinion Poll revealed were as selfish as they were backward, insincere and ungodly. “All that is changing now with the arrival of a bridge builder acceptable across the country”! The Opinion Poll dismissed the aspirations of Chief Bode George, Professor Tunde Adeniran and Jimi Agbaje as purely opportunistic. The Opinion Poll noted that unlike Chief Dokpesi whose antecedents are well known, the other contenders have been hanging on to the taproot of cheap politics.
Again, forecast from the Opinion Poll conducted amongst PDP faithful suggest that Chief Franklyn Edede, an accomplished national youth activists is set to clinch the position of the national youth leadership of the party.

Chief Franklyn, the Opinion Poll showed has a knack for solving knotty issues something that eluded the PDP in the build-up to the 2015 Presidential Elections. “This time, I think we got it right with our choice” said a cross section of youth leaders at a seminar held in Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. The Youths disclosed that they were going to ensure that their man emerged victorious. An active social media group has since gone ahead to propagate the virtues of Comrade Franklyn Edede before D-day.

Sahara Reporters, Premium Times, The Cable and Modern Journalism

Journalism has continued to evolve since the days of veterans like Professors Alfred Opubor, Onoura Nwuneli, Ralph Akinfeleye, Adidi Uyo, Idowu Sobowale, and other greats, not to mention the shining lights of flawless prose writing like Dan Agbese, Ray Ekpu, Yakubu Muhammed, Dele Gowa, and not least, Olatunji Dare. But the entrance of Sahara Reporters appears to deviate from those widely held pragmatic principles of decency. Stories by our reporters In those days, the Department of Mass Communication of the University of Lagos was very hot and remains so to date. Exciting lecturers in the mold of Dr Adidi Uyo, Ralph Akinfeleye, and Idowu Sobowale made teachings very robust and thirsty to listeners. Students learnt the trade and picked up fast. They taught the tenets of practical journalism exhaustively and left no stone unturned. They made journalism so sweet that students were always hungry to learn more; the thrills were such that even the 13 points cut-off mark for entry ...

Arising from the bombshell disclosure by no less a personality than Aliko Dangote on the perceived shortcomings of the embattled managing director of the downstream regulator, leaders of the League of Patriotic Lawyers have taken up the gauntlet to add fire to the disclosure by calling for the release of the names of beneficiaries of the import license.   Stories by Clement Ebaku and Lucy Okulougbo in Lagos.
