Tempers are
beginning to rise in Edo State over the All Progressive Congress (APC) NATIONAL
Chairman Comrade Adams Oshiomole’s seeming over bearing attitude in grabbing
every available juicy political position for his “boys”. The recent being Dr.
Pious Odubu, his former deputy, whom Oshio-Baba has just “assisted” to clinch
the Chairmanship position of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Earlier,
his “boys” Clement Agba and Louis Odion had been handed juicy political
appointments; the one a minister and the other a Special Assistant to the
President. The other is Oseni Elamai who is Chairman, Joint Tax Board. Many
more are said to be lined up which is now the source of tension in the Midwest
region. “Oshiomole has never ceased to amaze me”, said one Frank Idemudia a
political activists in Benin City. “He is so one sided and blinded by excessive
pride”, Mr Frank disclosed. “The way to be a leader is to look outside your
camp, and pick people who are also qualified but lack the power”, he added.
