OBASEKI MUST GO FOR SECOND TERM – GROUP



Those angling for business mogul and billionaire Capt. Hosa Okunbor to via for Edo Governorship ticket have been told to forget it.  “Godwin Obaseki must go for second term”, roared Mr. Kenneth Okoh, Secretary-General of the South-East Professional Organization.

The Secretary-General stated emphatically that any attempt to dislodge Obaseki will fail.  “They cannot do it”, he charged.

Mr. Okoh wondered why a motley group of retrogressive dark felons would conceive such a devilish plot all because of one man’s vaunting ambition.  “This is rubbish; those behind this plot may have succeeded in Lagos or elsewhere, but in Obaseki’s case they will meet their waterloo”, he declared.  According to him, the Benis are ready and waiting.

The Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Matters Offences Commission (ICPC) were set as an anti-corruption agency to rein in persons involved in suspected shady deals and sharp practices.
