The Israelis have on their hands:
a very big issue: what to do with the fiery chief-Hassan Nasrallah the boastful
leader of Hezbollah. Every now and then, the Israelis wake up to face some kind
of threat from this violent “powerful” leader of the Lebanese underground group;
his mission is to remind them that his group was ready for them with 100,000-150,000
rockets targeted at their major cities;
and to add fear to his speeches often
issued from hideouts he would say: “no one will be spared “, reminiscent of the
days of Goliath, the Philistine who was a torn in the flesh to the children of
Israel. Just like him, Hassan, talks boastfully, promising death and
destruction if they ever venture into the Lebanese territory. The Hezbollah
leader and his group had fought Israel in 2006 resulting to casualties on both
sides. Now he is back on the beat tasking his group to be ready and daring the
Israelis to come out. “This man speaks only one language: vulgar”, said one Ado
Ibrahim. He should calm down and find
other things to do with his life instead of issuing daily threats. “But I like
to see him make good his threats, otherwise he may be seen as a coward”,
disclosed Ibrahim Yerima an ardent political observer.

Agugua, directing the exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ifeanyichukwu Dona Amuchienwa, who was laid to rest on 17 October 2025. The directive, made nearly two months after the burial, has sparked widespread outrage, with many describing it as a shocking affront to the dignity of the deceased. Imolites are questioning the circumstances under which the ruling emerged, with reactions trailing a media release by Ms. Chinyere Igwegbe (formerly Amuchienwa), the late Chief’s former wife, whose marriage ended more than 32 years ago.
