The
embattled Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita has
allegedly opted to resign from office.
The newspaperman gathered from reliable sources that she had reluctantly
sent in her retirement request early on Monday August 19, 2019. The reasons for this sudden turn of event may
not be far from the controversial N3billion scam traced to her office and the further
16 billion Group Life Insurance Scheme (GLIS) deal currently hanging.Dark
clouds had surrounded her future when the deal blew open last week which led to
her ordeal at the hands of the EFCC.
