ALLEGED N3BN SCAM: OYO-ITA CLARIFIES THE BURNING ISSUES.

The embattled Head of Service of the Federation Chief Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita has come out to clarify some burning issues surrounding her recent ordeal with the EFCC saying “I do not own proxy companies under any guise and no upscale properties anywhere in Abuja”. She faulted the allegation of collusion saying “Some people come to me for introduction to some permanent secretaries and I have been doing that without knowing the implication”. She then distanced herself from the N600 million found on a Level 12 officer's account explaining that the said officer  reports to a director of Finance who in turn reports to a permanent secretary before her. “So, why are they linking me to the money?”  She went on to explain that the so-called level 12 officer who is also a Project Accountant is not her aide although he is a staff in the office of the Head of Service of the Federation. On the abuse of estacodes without travelling, she said “Yes, due to work pressure, I may not be in position to travel”. The embattled HOS added:  "I have been very loyal to this Administration”. Now, the ball is in the court of Mr President; but Oyo-Ita has been with Mr. President since his PTF days and he is one who hardly abandon friends!

The young General Overseer popularly known as “mathematical prophetic” “accuracy bazooka” has declared repeatedly: ‘you can doubt my prophesies, but you cannot doubt the outcome!” Preaching last Sunday, 16 th September, the cleric disclosed that the examination of life has no timetable unlike that of common exams. He said that is the reason why worshippers must not toy with their destiny background-and where they come from. Bishop Edobor has restored many destinies and not a few people have had breakthroughs in marriage, travel overseas, employment, healing, etc. The Edo State born man of God has been variously described as “small oyedepo” from the way he prea...

STOP THE ILLEGAL DETENTIONS IN ICPC NOW BUHARI TOLD

The Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Matters Offences Commission (ICPC) were set as an anti-corruption agency to rein in persons involved in suspected shady deals and sharp practices. But in recent times as investigations have revealed The commission appears to have derailed as it is fast losing that tag as an anti-corruption agency.  Preliminary investigations have unearthed some sharp practices of illegal detentions on spurious charges, unauthorized raid and sealing of victims houses and unwarranted blockages of victim’s accounts. “This bad practice must be discontinued” declared Mr Rafiu Ibrahim, Secretary-General of Association for Good Governance and Transparency (AFGT). Throwing more light on the sad development, the Secretary-General wondered why the ICPC would detain without charges any suspected Nigerian for upwards of two weeks without proceeding to court, while systematically extorting various sums of money from the detained Nigerian.  The Secretary-Ge...
