EMEFIELE SCORES HIGH AS BUHARI COMMISSIONS PROJECTS



The profile of Chief Godwin Emefiele, the Central Bank of Nigeria, Governor is on the rise as President Buhari on Thursday commissioned the Post Graduate Center of Excellence at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Kaduna State.

The President explained at the Commissioning that the Federal Government has invested more than N1.3 trillion to develop the education sector in the last four years and promised that is administration will do more in this second coming.

But speaking with reporters, the CBN Governor said the bank had spent 21billion to build, equip and furnish three academic Centers of Excellence at the University of Ibadan, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.  The Centers are to be activated for academic use in October  2019.

He announced that “the Centers are built for post graduate studies in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Management and specialized areas”.

Godwin Emefiele is seen as a sector player generally acceptable by prominent figures across the nation    - politically, socially and economically.

The Delta born technocrat now serving his second term in office is determined to ring the economy back in good
