OSHIOMOLE BRANDED AS A DEITY, ACCUSED OF MEDDLING IN APC AFFAIRS



The biggest deity we have in the All Progressive Congress (APC) is Comrade Adams Oshiomole, so declared the Chairman League of Patriotic Lawyers Barrister Abubakar Yesufu.

Addressing Journalist at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammad Airport in Lagos, last Wednesday, the activist lawyer did not mince words.  “There is absolutely no reason why Oshiomole should impose his authority on the Governor of Edo State” he declared.  “We had several deities in the past; leaders with cult-like followership such as late Chief Tony Anenih; late Samuel Ogbemudia; the iconic Sir Gabriel Igbinedion and now Adams Oshiomole has come on board”, he continued. 

“We can’t take it; we know he has concluded plans to deny Obaseki the ticket, just like he did to Ambode back in Lagos, but this time, he should tread cautiously”, he added. 

“Oshiomole is not the owner of Edo State; Oshiomole must know that we are in a democracy, not in autocratic, vindictive setting and so he must subject himself to the rule of law – and peace practice”, he concluded.

Lawyers set for showdown with MD, NMDPRA Petrol Import Licenses breach, set for legal action
