NASIR EL-RUFAI AGAIN! PRAISES FLOOD IN

Suddenly, the name Nasir El-Rufai reverberates round the city of Abuja, with hundreds of residents remembering him for his good works!

The reason for doing so is not far-fetched: The Capital City is gradually – and steadily – deteriorating into huge slum!  “Now, the roads are bad; people defacing the City; Okada riders are back on the roads , Keke Napep drivers are now a scourge”, reports one Idris Choji.  “It is a shame; no single road has been repaired in the last 6 years; most drainages – the whole of Lokogoma axis – are covered with filths”, said Mr. Idris.  The sad reality is that no one is there to give instructions – or directives.  “This is not to mention the traffic gridlock encountered daily in the City and of course crime increase”, he added.  Criminals – most especially Okada riders are now emboldened threatening lives of other motorists.  “This wouldn’t have happened under El-Rufai”, remarked one Salim Musa.  “He has what they call leadership qualities”, he concludes. Nasir El-Rufai is the former minister of the capital territory who made sure that Abuja regained its liveliness. Since his departure, there has never been any with his kind of heart. The current minister is strangely a mere observer doing absolutely nothing despite the huge trust the President has on him.
