Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu the acclaimed Asiwaju of Yoruba Land has come under stringent attack by members of the Atiku PovertyCure Initiative Coalition who categorically told him to stop saying Nigerians would not go back to 'Egypt", asking which "Egypt", is he referring to? The group also advised Asiwaju to desist from calling PDP looters pointing out that his ruling All Progressive Congress party was more corrupt than any other in the history of Nigeria, adding that they should forget about 2019 for Buhari. The group speaking through its National Coordinator Chief Jones Ogwumike charged Alhaji Tinubu to stop calling the President "Mr. Integrity", because Nigerians are now wiser and would not "chop" hunger, poverty and starvation before they succumb to premature death. Chief Jones described Alhaji Tinubu's ranting as cheap politics and opined that Nigerians would no longer fall for his antics. Chief Jones lambasted the APC National leader to shelve whatever he has to say that the era of Alhaji Atiku Ababakar has come to stay and Nigerians were going to vote massively for him. The National Coordinator said a situation where his wife is going back to the senate for a record third term and he "wickedly" aborted the second term aspiration of a performing governor is to say the list disgusting, abominable and a regrettable. Chief Jones wondered why they call Mr. President "a man of integrity and honesty" yet the country wallows in abject poverty, hunger and starvation. He warned that Nigerian elites should back out from deceiving Nigerians adding that 2019 was only for serious and capable leaders like Atiku Abubakar. Chief Jones who was in company of his National Executives like Abdulrasheed Atta, Mr. Iyke Ogbonna, Prince Ebri Ukagu told press men that the Atiku PovertyCure was currently sensitizing Nigerians o brace up and stand against deception, trickery and nepotism. He said the Atiku PovertyCure Group was creating awareness on the "atikulated" programmes of their leader so that Nigerians would be on guard.
How the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan frittered away the nation’s scarce resources is beginning to spill out – despite the shrill insistence by ex-Finance Minister, Okonjo Iweala that the records sheet were clean! Information pieced together by our investigators show that several paramilitary Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Interior shared a record 10 billion each for the purpose of influencing the March 28 General Elections in favour of the defeated incumbent. However, things did not go down well with the ranks and file during the sharing. Outgoing Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Boss (name withheld) was said to have misappropriated the huge booty by allegedly pocketing 5 billion for himself, while declaring the other half (5 billion) as the sum total. The bone of contention was that while the rank and file received 40,000 each some key associates close to the big guns went home with a hefty slice. Causing the rumble.
