ATIKU GROUP TELLS OSHIOMOLE: STOP INSULTING OBASANJO

Image result for Oshiomole and ObasanjoThe Atiku PovertyCure Initiative Coalition has called on the APC National Chairman to stop insulting eminent personalities in Nigeria. The group in a statement released by its National Coordinator chief Jones Ogwumike vehemently opposes Adams Oshiomole's vitriolic remarks against former president  insinuating that  "he is one of those used to sucking the system without adding anything to it". Adams Oshiomole was also quoted to have said "God will punish Obasanjo for reversing his stand against Atiku Abubakar". Chief Jones reminded Oshiomole that those who live in glass houses do not throw stones, advising him to check the speck in his eye before inspecting  others. The National coordinator cautioned Oshiomole to tread softly stressing that although  nobody has held him accountable for the $million dollars he borrowed on the eve of his departure from office nor asked him about the $million reportedly traced to his account in the United States, Nigerians cannot be fooled. Chief Jones pointed out that Nigerians are also aware of some sleazy properties already linked with Oshiomole in places like Danube street, Maitama, Okorotun Avenue in Benin city, also in Iyamho his village not to mention his reputed airline business in Cape Verde Island. Chief Jones who was in company of his executives notably Chief Iyke Ogbonna, Prince Ayei Ukagu and the National Mobilization Director Prince Osagie Azonabor charged Adams Oshiomole to be of good behavior and emulate the virtues of former APC chairman  Chief Odigie Oyegun whom he forcibly removed from office, telling him that there was no more time for his antics. The group leader disclosed that  Nigerians were in a hurry to rebuild their country destroyed by partisan politicians like him who has no qualms in plunging the country into chaos. Chief Jones challenged Oshiomole to come out clean and desist from his backward and stone age politics. "We are focused on rebuilding our country from the ruins left by Oshiomole and his people, we can no longer allow it", he stressed. He added that Nigerians have decided to vote massively for  Atiku Abubakar, come May 2019.

Sahara Reporters, Premium Times, The Cable and Modern Journalism

Journalism has continued to evolve since the days of veterans like Professors Alfred Opubor, Onoura Nwuneli, Ralph Akinfeleye, Adidi Uyo, Idowu Sobowale, and other greats, not to mention the shining lights of flawless prose writing like Dan Agbese, Ray Ekpu, Yakubu Muhammed, Dele Gowa, and not least, Olatunji Dare. But the entrance of Sahara Reporters appears to deviate from those widely held pragmatic principles of decency. Stories by our reporters In those days, the Department of Mass Communication of the University of Lagos was very hot and remains so to date. Exciting lecturers in the mold of Dr Adidi Uyo, Ralph Akinfeleye, and Idowu Sobowale made teachings very robust and thirsty to listeners. Students learnt the trade and picked up fast. They taught the tenets of practical journalism exhaustively and left no stone unturned. They made journalism so sweet that students were always hungry to learn more; the thrills were such that even the 13 points cut-off mark for entry ...
