statement by Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari that her husband
knows only about 5 of 50 of his political appointees generated so much
tension. But the President of the League
of Patriotic Lawyers, Malam Abubakar Yusuf has defended her outburst saying
that she was right. “The statement is
from the closest person to the President, I wonder why people are kicking
against it”, he declared. “The President
is dancing to sentiments and not reality and somebody has to correct him”, he
told the Exposenews. Malam Abubakar
disclosed that 80% of PDP appointees are still in office; he also said even in
some cases one or two individuals are holding several offices at once. “That’s not right, there are other capable
