PUZZLE OVER DAME PATIENCE BILLIONS

Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of former President Jonathan, exploits or rather escapades filled the air and print waves recently. True to biblical predictions ,“All things done in the dark shall be brought to light”. But the Expose News would not dwell on the enormity of the scandalous revelation but rather on the morality of the former first lady’s statement –that the money discovered was for her medical bills-and the EFCC shadow boxing exercise. The Expose News gathered that when the news broke out, Dame Patience came out boldly to say the $15 million lodged in four bank accounts was hers and they were meant for payment of her medical bills.
But reporters of the Expose News who went to town to gauge public opinion were shocked at the responses of Nigerians interviewed. Here are some of the views expressed. “That woman thinks Nigerians are fools and can be taken for a ride”, said Dominic Igbadume, a newspaper vendor. From Doris Adukwe, a shop attendant in Garki shopping mall, “$15 million for medical treatment? What type of ailment? Kidney? Breast Cancer? Or tummy tuck? That woman should just keep quiet”, Monday Aweleye said “we never knew she has any terminal disease. But if she has, does she need all that money?  Again, for Prince will Arawa “if she can budget this much for medical bills, imagine what she would budget for her residence, companies, relations and estates”. The Expose News gathered that the former first lady has had her hands soiled in nearly every negative aspect of life and like the proverbial greedy monkey has now been trapped!
But for the EFCC to announce that investigations were inconclusive after rubbishing her image on the page of newspapers is unfortunate. Dame Patience has owned up that the money is hers, why develop cold feet at the eleventh hour? This is the

WORSHIPPERS THRONG TO KUJE FOR BISHOP DAVID EDOBOR (ANGEL 1)

Kuje, a suburb in the capital city of Abuja is witnessing an unusual traffic: hundreds of worshippers are seen trooping to stadium road in Kuje where Bishop David Edobor, General Overseer of the Joshua Generation Church is blazing the trail, performing spiritual feats, healing, delivering and restoring damaged destinies. STOP THE ILLEGAL DETENTIONS IN ICPC NOW BUHARI TOLD

The Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Matters Offences Commission (ICPC) were set as an anti-corruption agency to rein in persons involved in suspected shady deals and sharp practices. But in recent times as investigations have revealed The commission appears to have derailed as it is fast losing that tag as an anti-corruption agency.  Preliminary investigations have unearthed some sharp practices of illegal detentions on spurious charges, unauthorized raid and sealing of victims houses and unwarranted blockages of victim’s accounts. “This bad practice must be discontinued” declared Mr Rafiu Ibrahim, Secretary-General of Association for Good Governance and Transparency (AFGT). Throwing more light on the sad development, the Secretary-General wondered why the ICPC would detain without charges any suspected Nigerian for upwards of two weeks without proceeding to court, while systematically extorting various sums of money from the detained Nigerian.  The Secretary-Ge...
