Good news is here for Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State. Reason: a massively conducted opinion poll nation wide has confirmed him as the best performing Governor in Nigeria in this political dispensation. The opinion poll conducted by members of the The Expose Communications Limited, a firm of Public Relations and blogging consultants with ad-hoc field officers numbering over 700 in the 36 States of the Federation made the disclosure minutes after the results from the States were collated. The poll conducted alongside finding out the chances of President Buhari's return and performance of State Governors across the land discovered that 75% of Nigerians had selected the amiable Governor as the overall best for his straightforward approach to governance, distribution of social amenities, infrastructure, political dividends, equality, justice and fairness to Lagosians. The poll showed a whopping 95% of Nigerians thought his loyalty to party leaders and structure is not in doubt. Only 5% thought he ought to have fought back after he had been denied his normally constitutional right for second term ticket, something for which others in his shoes would have resisted; but he took it with equanimous calm and went on to work in the interest of his party-and subsequent victory. In terms of judicious use of government funds, 85% of Nigerians agreed that he had been very prudent and honest although 15% thought he could have done more-but for the paucity of needed funds. According to the poll results, 75% of Nigerians felt that should APC retain their federal position, Governor Ambode should be one of their very fresh appointees judging from the manner he had handled party politics. Going by the returns from the opinion poll, 65% of Nigerians hail Governor Ambode for his strong character approach, attitude and disposition to official matters; 35% believe that the governor has no airs about him, although he is cosmopolitan in nature and should have been proud with his position and fame! Governor Ambode scored high especially with regards to his relationship with all manners of people across board. In terms of his security, hospitality, composure, acceptability by all tribes, the poll showed 75% of Nigerians applauding this gesture. For this therefore, the management of the Expose Communications have decide to name Ambode as the best performing Governor in Nigeria. The officials believe that somebody of his nature and caliber should be groomed for further leadership position in this country. They therefore agreed that the governor would be officially notified and preparations made to present the award to him. The managers of the Expose Communications had earlier written a book showcasing the strong character trait of the Lagos State governor and had plans to launch the book during the governors birthday in June 14, 2019. The poll had been randomly conducted and questionnaires administered directly to members of the public. The criteria used was to select fairly from Nigerians ages 25-60, and equal distribution between males and females. They were instructed to interview Nigerians from both the averagely placed and learned. The targeted places for interview were tertiary Institutions and designated public places.
