An influential
group known as Concerned Nigerian Network in Diaspora with long history of
credibility is set to endorse a presidential candidate for the 2019 general
elections. The group which in 2011 had thrown its weight behind Dr. Good luck
Ebele Jonathan who went on to win the general elections is renowned for making
realistic predictions.
The group under the
leadership of Comrade James Erebuoye, a man who is known to be largely detribalized,
who was recently decorated as an International Noble Ambassador, who is also
the host of popular Online Platform, Rebuild Nigeria Movement said in quote: that
“we never take sides with any government, we relate with different NGO’s
because of our fearlessness and non-partisan nature”. He said further: “all contestants
are Nigerians, and elections will always come and go and Nigeria is our
country; so we will try to endorse the right candidate”.
Comrade James
insist that the country should be led in the right way and that indices such
as economy, education, development,
employment, security, structure, corruption
and human right level are going to be crucial in swaying their eventual decision.
He said that by the time their decision is made known the world would know why
they did it for the most populous black nation in the world.
Comrade James
disclosed that he has personally followed the activities of government since
1999 and he knows the difference between development and propagandists
simulations. So, according to him, presidential aspirants who are masquerading
as credible candidates would have a shocker await them as their overall
decision would soon be made public.
The group,
Concerned Nigerian Network in Diaspora believes that nobody owns Nigeria and
that there should be a level playing field for every candidate. The group noted
that Nigeria is abundantly blessed with mineral resources and that all that is
needed now is for a credible candidate to emerge and guide the nation right. “We
cannot sit back and watch our nation relapse into oblivion”, said Comrade
James.
