PRESIDENCY MOVES, PREVAILS ON TINUBU TO ADOPT AMBODE

Image result for buhari, Ambode and TinubuAt last, the Presidency late on Friday is believed to have prevailed on the APC national Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to adopt Akinwunmi Ambode as the APC sole flag bearer for the 2019 Lagos State Governorship elections. This refreshing news has given supporters of the youthful governor a moral booster just as Jide Sanya-Olu the alleged Mandate Group favored aspirant has named his campaign team. Emerging from the closed door meeting with Mr. President,  in Aso Rock, Tinubu was blocked by journalists who asked him the outcome. He responded smiling that it was a family affair and the details would be made public later. He expressed concern that the matter had been blown out of proportion; he wondered whether it was out of place to have this type of disagreement adding that, after all this was all about politics. Inside sources however informed that the President had emphatically told the APC chieftain that supporting another candidate at this time was dangerous and that the right thing to do was to adopt Ambode and strengthen the Party in Lagos . President Buhari was said to have told the Leader that Ambode had made the party proud and  wondered what difference a new candidate was bringing on the table. As at the time of writing this report, Abuja residents where Governor Ambode commands huge respect and follower ship incensed by Jide Sanya-Olu's antics who they regard as a spoiler. They questioned: why not wait for his turn?

Lawyers set for showdown with MD, NMDPRA Petrol Import Licenses breach, set for legal action
