The group ReturnAmbode2019 for second term has again called on the national leader of the All Progressive Congress not to allow other aspirants to contest primaries with the incumbent Governor Ambode. The group in a statement issued by its National Coordinator Prince Ayei Ebri Ukagu and General Secretary Mr. Sule Oyofo expressed their concern for this because there was need for the lagos APC to show unity and understanding. The group insisted that since Governor Ambode has performed, there was need to encourage him to do more. The statement added that a critical assessment of the performance of the Governor shows that lagos has moved to a new level of modernity since Ambode's arrival. The group praised Tinubu's efforts so far but asked him to do more since the success of the party rest on his shoulders. The group advised Tinubu not to jettison the feelings of lagosians about the need for continuity and urged him to consider the dire consequences of frequent changes in governance. This is the time for consolidation, the group noted, and hinted at a possible rally to drive home their support for the action Governor. "There is no big deal in giving Governor Ambode a second term", stated Mr. Sule Oyofo. He has been trying his best to accommodate all interest and as such he should be supported. The General Secretary called on the Asiwaju to use his fatherly posture to forgive his political son if at all there was any rancor.
