Ambode Congratulates Hamzat, Restates His Unshakable Commitment To Tinubu

 His Excellency, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, former governor of Lagos State, has joined fellow members of the All Progressive Congress to congratulate Dr Obefemi Hamzat, whom he described as his friend and brother, on his emergence as the Lagos State Consensus Governorship Candidate of the APC.

In a personal statement, the former governor also restated his unshakable commitment to supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whom he described as a great leader whose vision and inspiration have yielded bountiful returns and put the nation on the path of growth and prosperity.

While describing Dr Hamzat as an embodiment of loyalty, hard work, and dedication spanning over decades to the party, he said the state will definitely benefit immensely from his wealth of experience and skills in governance. “Your deliberate and purposeful consultation with the party hierarchy and all members of the party has demonstrated you are a true party man committed to the party’s ideals and values of unity and progress.”

Accordingly, Ambode declared further: “We are ready to roll up our sleeves and work to deliver landslide victories for the party at both the state and federal levels as the process unfolds.”

He noted that the mission in Lagos will be to deliver at least 3 million votes for Mr President and support other states in the Southwest to deliver great results. “We must return all our party-nominated


senators and representatives to the National Assembly”, he declared.
