chambers by an appellate court after an appeal ruled in favor of his opponent
Senator Smart Adeyemi. The former senator had been in the habit of displaying
illicit wealth even as he was accused of indulging in fiery speeches during his
time at the senate Red Chambers. This had exposed him as a target for the EFCC this
past few years. He had also come under attack by his constituency for neglect
