DIASPORA CHIEF HAILS BUHARI, COMMENDS OPINION POLL ACCURACY


Diaspora Chief Comrade (Ambassador) James Erebuoye has hailed the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the just concluded February 23 elections which held nationwide. The President defeated his closest rival by a good margin of over 4 million votes and earned a second term ticket. The elections had been rescheduled from February 16, 2019 due to shoddy preparation by INEC. Addressing a Press Conference at the federal capital city, Abuja, the ebullient Comrade (Ambassador) James Erebuoye congratulated President Buhari and the members of the All Progressive Congress for a job well done. The Ambassador also used the opportunity to thank Nigerians for reposing their confidence on him once again. He said President Buhari has a reputation to protect and would never disappoint Nigerians; he said the President would use the next four years to build a lasting legacy for Nigerians. Comrade James then called on the Nigerian Journalists to use their good opportunity to build on the unity and prosperity of Nigerians. He stressed that President Buhari is a man of integrity and very honest. “We are going to work closely with him to ensure his success”, he said. In another development, Comrade James commended the field officers of the Expose Communications Limited a firm of Public Relations and Online Bloggers who carried out a massive opinion poll nationwide on the eve of the Presidential Elections. He described them as very patriotic and responsible for spending such a huge financial resources to ensure that the unity of Nigeria continue to exist adding that their effort would not be in vain.  He particularly praised the 1,500 field officers who took part in the exercise across the 36 States of the Federation. . Comrade James who is very close to the corridors of power further disclosed that the outcome of the poll served as a template to gauge where the pendulum would swing and  the electorate knew there was going to be relative peace in the country. “Through the poll outcome, our confidence was buoyed for the fact that we knew Buhari’s influence was going to play a key factor rather than money”, he said. The Comrade hinted that Government was not unaware of the organizers efforts.

Lawyers set for showdown with MD, NMDPRA Petrol Import Licenses breach, set for legal action
