With the conviction of Firms that
laundered money for the former First Lady Patience Jonathan, the noose tightens
around her neck. The four firms, Pluto Property and Investment Company Limited,
Seagate Property Development & Investment Co. Limited, Trans Ocean Property
and Investment Company Limited and Avaloon Global Property Development Company
Limited. They are all linked to the former Special Adviser on Domestic
Affairs to the ex-President Good Luck
Jonathan, Waripamo Owei Dudafa. The EFCC had earlier frozen the accounts where
the $15.5 million were domiciled in Skye Bank and seized it in the course of
probing Dudafa for money laundering. Patience Jonathan is allegedly under
investigation for numerous other crimes bordering on her yearly receipt of 16
billion from the NDDC for contracts that were never executed. She was said to
have received that amount for 5 years continuously; she is also under scrutiny
for receiving similar amounts from NIMASA, the Presidential Amnesty Programme
for contracts that were equally never executed. Also an Estate along Lugbe road
