SENATOR OYOFO TO RESCUE PDP IN EDO STATE?

The stage is set for two time Senator Victor Kassim Oyofo to step in as the undisputed leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State. With the exit of those allegedly dubbed as political prostitutes led by Pastor Osaze Ize Iyamu the ship is now left for   the popular and renowned Senator Victor Oyofo to pilot. Senator Oyofo has remained loyal and committed to the Party cause and has never wavered.   He had continued to use his personal resources to ensure stability in the affairs of the Party. Now all eyes are on him to deliver, especially now that Dan Orbih, current Chairman is under pressure to quit having been there for over a decade. Dan Orbih, in his days as the chairman has completely alienated the PDP from the masses; no wonder the PDP was regularly defeated in every poll because of his anti-activities.   Senator Odion Ugbesia is being touted to replace him at the helm. It remains to be seen whether he has the charisma and character t...

EDO STATE GUBER RACE: OSHIOMOLE DRAWS BATTLELINE

This is authoritative, Comrade Adams Oshiomole has finally drawn the curtains between him and Governor Godwin Obaseki.   All pretense to the renewal of fresh pact between him and the embattled Governor was finally laid to rest when the APC National Chairman stormed Benin-City with the full complement of the national committee members to receive Pastor Osaze Ize Iyamu who decamped to APC with all his members.   Oshiomole arrived Benin without informing the incumbent Governor, regardless of the fact that the rally had been cancelled by the Inspector General of Police.   But this action did not however go down well with Youths in Benin who subsequently blocked the routes Oshiomole was expected to take.   The road leading to his residence was also allegedly blocked and the ceremony had to shift to Pastor Ize Iyamu’s house where Oshiomole belatedly addressed the crowd. Reports say Youths all over Benin are angry over Oshiomole’s determination to unseat Obaseki. ...

MESSI MAKES HISTORY YET AGAIN.

Without a doubt, Lionel Messi of Barcelona had to be crowned the Ballon D’or footballer of the year for the 6th time. No player has ever reached this milestone in the history of football. At 32, the Argentine looks fit as ever to continue to haul in more laurels in the years to come. Messi got the higher points against his friendly rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, who for twelve years had shared the award with him. Luka Modric of Real Madrid was the winner in 2018. With age not on their side, the world may soon begin to see less of the football masters.
